Youth Continuum of Care

Emerald City Behavioral Health is expanding services to meet the urgent needs of youth and families across Washington State. Our Youth Continuum of Care is designed for adolescents ages 12–17 who require specialized behavioral health support, from crisis stabilization through long-term residential treatment.


This continuum provides a full range of care options—including inpatient psychiatric stabilization, withdrawal management, residential care, outpatient counseling, and family engagement—ensuring that young people and their families have the right level of care at the right time.


Federal Way Youth Center (Opening June 2026)

  • ECBH-owned and operated youth facility.

  • Provides voluntary and involuntary treatment for youth ages 12–17.

  • Full continuum of services:
    Inpatient psychiatric stabilization
    Secure withdrawal management
    Short- and long-term residential care
    Outpatient step-down counseling
    Family engagement and support


Our Commitment

The Youth Continuum of Care reflects ECBH’s long-term vision: providing family-centered, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate care to young people in crisis. By expanding into Federal Way, and Spokane, we are building a sustainable system of youth behavioral health services across Washington State.
